Veterans Garden Raised Bed Build Day!

We’re building 10 ADA (Two wheel chair accessible, two table top and six 2’ tall) friendly raised garden beds (8’x4’) using donated cedar and tools from the Home Depot Foundation! and help from volunteer’s from Waynesboro, Harrisonburg and Charlottesville Home Depot’s! and we’d love your help too!

No experience needed we’ll have tasks for everyone! Whether you’re handy with tools or just willing to lend a hand, we can plug you in.

What we’ll be doing:

Assembling 10 raised beds

Measuring, drilling, and securing boards

Light lifting and setup

What to bring:

Work gloves (if you have them)

Water bottle

Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

We’ll provide tools and materials!

This project focuses on building ADA accessible garden spaces! help us make gardening more inclusive for everyone.
