Restoring Our Hillside for Native Pollinators!
On top of everything else happening at the Veterans Garden of Augusta, we are making this a real priority. The goal is to bring this space back to life as healthy habitat for pollinators and birds. We’re lucky to have guidance from the Virginia Native Plant Society, the Master Naturali

This marks the first step in turning the space into a place where veterans and the community can grow, learn, and give back together.

Big News — We Found Land!
I’m excited to share that the Veterans Garden of Augusta has officially found a home for our garden! We’ve secured a 0.30-acre site that’s the perfect manageable size to get started and it even has its own parking lot already in place. It also has water and electric hookups near by. Even better, it’s within Staunton city limits , making it easy for local veterans to access and participate. We’re in the final steps of formalizing the agreements , and once everything is signe
