Welcome Enchanted Nature to the Garden!🍄

ree

We’re excited to welcome Chris and Vikki from Enchanted Nature to the Veterans Garden of Augusta family!

Chris and Vikki will be our link to the incredible world of mushrooms from growing and education to foraging and beyond. With their guidance, we’ll begin planning and designing areas around the garden dedicated to mushroom production and learning. Enchanted Nature will help teach veterans about the many roles mushrooms play in healthy ecosystems as food, medicine, and essential partners in soil life.

Vikki, an experienced landscape architect, brings a wonderful eye for creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Together, she and Chris will help us design these mushroom areas with the care and respect they deserve.

This partnership ties beautifully into the network we’re building the wood and woodchip donations from our friends at Bartlett Tree Experts and Honorable Tree Service and others will provide an excellent resource for mushroom cultivation. Everything connects, and that’s exactly how nature works.

We’re so excited to start this next layer of the garden with Enchanted Nature by our side helping us grow knowledge, community, and a little bit of magic under the shade of the trees.
