Welcome Honorable Tree Service to the VGA!

ree

We are happy to welcome Honorable Tree Service, a veteran owned business, as a new friend of the Veterans Garden of Augusta. Tony, the owner of Honorable Tree Service is a fellow veteran who brings a lot of heart and skill to his work. He has agreed to provides wood chips and logs that can be used for many things in the garden, like seating, raised beds, and growing structures. These materials are more than just practical. Wood chips improve soil health, help keep weeds down, and create safe walking paths so veterans of all abilities can move around the garden more easily. These simple materials will help us build a space that feels both useful and welcoming for our veterans.

What makes this even more special is Tony’s interest in wellness practices such as forest bathing and other ways of finding peace in nature. That fits right in with our vision of gardening for wellness and creating a space where veterans can relax, connect, and heal.

We are thankful for Tony’s ideas, his support in planning, and his commitment to reaching out to other veterans. His dedication to the community and his desire to give back make him a awesome addition to the circle of people helping us grow this project.

You can learn more about Tony and Honorable Tree Service by visiting his website.
